I Like: Pretty Pictures

I know I have been absent for quite a while, but that is just how things are going to be for the next few months. I don’t want to be dictated by any schedule or time frame, so posts will come when I feel like it and have some free time.

Today I will be showcasing some of my favorite illustrators. I’ve found that most of my favorites use watercolor techniques in their illustrations, are fashion-influenced, and rely heavily on the use of bright color.

Spotlight on Caroline

I would like to introduce you to my favorite blogger/artist/pattern designer, Caroline of Looks Good to Me. Caroline creates the most beautiful watercolor-inspired images to accompany her blog posts. I envy her illustrating talent and eye for design and I have a RIDICULOUS amount of her drawings saved in my “Inspiration” file on my computer. Her blog is one of the main inspirations of my own and has been influential in my art style. Below are a few of my favorite illustrations by Caroline. Enjoy!
